Position Purpose:
Accounts payable specialists manage the expenses of companies, businesses, and organizations. They analyze invoices and expense reports, resolve accounting discrepancies, and charge expenses to accounts.

Position Duties not all inclusive:

• Review, validate and enter invoices into the AP system.
• Code AP invoices as indicated or based on expense type.
• Invoice item receipts and match to AP invoices.
• Create and follow up on inter-office communication.
• Issue timely invoice payments via ACH, credit card, or check to Vendors.
• Expense report processing.

• Required: Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Required: College course work in Accounting or Associates Degree in Accounting or 2 years Accounting Experience.
• Required: 1-2 years of accounting experience (preferably in AP and/or AP Clerk)
• Required: Experience in using accounting software and proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word
