Overview:

Aquafinity is a leading provider of aquatice water treatment products. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, reconciling Accounts Payable transactions, and maintaining vendor relationships. Responsibilities:

1. Process Accounts Payable invoices accurately and efficiently.

2. Match purchase orders with invoices to ensure accuracy of billing.

3. Obtain proper approval for invoices prior to processing payments.

4. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

5. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.

6. Maintain accurate records of Accounts Payable transactions.

7. Assist with month-end closing activities.

8. Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies.

9. Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to Accounts Payable.

10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

11. Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.

2. Proven experience working as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role.

3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.

4. Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP, preferred.

5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

6. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

7. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

8. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

10. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.

11. Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 42 per week
