Accounts Payable Clerk

Bob Sumerel Tire Company, a leader in the Commercial Tire Industry for over 52 years, is hiring an Accounts Payable Specalist. The ideal candidate must have previous ap experience. This position will be based in Erlanger , KY. Excellent growth opportunity for a dedicated and career driven candidate.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming Accounts Payable calls and respond to inquiries for payment information.
• Reconcile invoices to vendor statements.
• Prepare statements for payment
• Contact vendors for missing invoices or statements.
• Communicate with company store locations to obtain approval on invoices and to correct billing errors.
• Verify accurate general ledger coding on invoices.
• Assist in preparing weekly check runs.
• Prepare schedules for yearend close, including worksheets for yearend review.
• Analysis AP clearing account to make certain payments are being processed.
• Contribute to vendor file maintenance.
• Cross train with accounting staff to process inventory receipts and national account credits.
• AP projects as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
