Sea To Land is looking for an Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our finance department.This position will be involved with processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and any other duties assigned by the controller. Accounts payable processing involves matching receiving documents with vendor invoices for material purchases and getting signed approval to pay service invoices as well as entering bills to be paid. Accounts receivable processing involves matching customer payments with outstanding invoices and making bank deposits.

Schedule
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday with weekend availability
- Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
- Prepare bank deposits
- Enter financial transactions into internal databases **(QuickBooks Desktop knowledge is required)**
- Check/ manage financial spreadsheets for accuracy
- Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
- Participate in quarterly and annual audits
- Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
- Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Organization skills
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
- Must be a fast learner with excellent work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily deadlines.
- Attention to detail and multitasking are critical.
