The Accounting Specialist is responsible for executing general daily accounting duties in accordance with Lane policies. This position will be charged with various entries of financial and other data into the ERP system and other software in an accurate and efficient manner.
Requirements:
· Timely entry of journal entries and accounting and other data into ERP system.
· Review and reconciliation of selected accounts, including bank reconciliations.
· Assist with overflow work from other accounting staff when required.
· Communicate with vendors about accounts and payments.
· Prepare supporting schedules for financial statements.
· Prepare accounting-related accruals.
· Assist with month and year-end closing tasks.
· Validate Sales Tax exemption certificates.
· Participate in preparation for annual audit.
· Assist with Accounts Payable processing, review and analysis.
