Responsibilities:
-Provide excellent customer service by identifying, investigating, and following up on critical accounts payable issues, in a timely manner, to the point of resolution
-Accurately process accounts payable invoices
-Analyze accounts payable invoices to ensure accuracy, proper general ledger account
assignment and proper routing for approval.
-Maintain accurate multi-company vendor listing in general ledger system:
-Process payments on a consistent schedule and in a timely manner regardless of the medium
-Ensure that the general ledger accurately reflects the organization's accounts payable position
-Manage agency commission payable process
-Manage accounting aspects of policyholder dividend process
-Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for all accounts payable processes
-Assist in establishing and maintaining a procurement process that aligns with best practices
-Assist with the preparation of various financial reports and accounting statements
-Assist with preparation of reports and other information, as assigned, to satisfy external auditor requests
-Assist with additional projects, as assigned

Qualifications:
-Associates or Bachelor???s degree and 1 years of experience with an accounting staff in a business environment
-NetSuite preferred or have experience with another accounting system
-Possess a basic knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
-Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
-Must demonstrate organizational skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and accounting software
-Possess attention to detail
