Bellingham Cold Storage is looking for new full-time team member to join our industry-leading cold chain logistics company. Based in Bellingham, WA for over 77 years, we own and manage several warehouse locations including the largest portside cold storage facility on the West Coast.

The Accounting Specialist at Bellingham Cold Storage is an essential contributor to our success.

What does the Accounting Specialist do?

• Administer the accounts receivable process including customer and tenant billing.
• Demonstrate an exceptionally high level of customer service.
• Address customer billing questions, vendor payment questions and collection inquiries
• Provide backup to the Executive Assistant/Accounts Payable and the General Business Representative positions.
• Maintain financial recordkeeping and reporting requirements.
• Quickly learn new computer systems and understand inventory and warehousing principles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Sit at a desk for lengthy periods of time in front of a computer screen
• Walk up stairs
• Occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
• Work in office

Wages and hours

Hourly range is $28.00 - $30.00 DOE.

Location:

• Work will be performed at our Roeder Avenue facility.
• Hours are Monday – Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm

• 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
