Harborview Medical Center has an outstanding opportunities Full-Time [VARIOUS SHIFTS] Patient Services Specialist 2. The PSS demonstrates service excellence standards in performing the following functions: reception and discharge activities; schedule appointments; coordinate ancillary appointments; check in patients; provide initial triage; and coordinate referral process; coordinate medical records; verify and update registration information; process charge documents; collect time of service payments; perform other necessary activities to maintain clinic operations.

    PATIENT SERVICES SPECIALIST 2 OPPORTUNITIES AT THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS
  • HMC Adult Medicine Clinic- Full-Time
  • HMC Medical Specialties- Full-Time
  • HMC 2 West Clinics- Full-Time
  • HMC Eyes On Main- Full-Time
    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Reception and discharge activities
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Coordinating care with other services
  • Checking-in patients
  • Providing initial triage
  • Coordinating referral process
  • Coordinating medical records
  • Obtaining and verifying registration information/insurance
  • Processing charge documents
  • Collection of time-of-service payments
  • Perform other necessary activities to maintain clinic operations


  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School graduation or equivalent AND One year of Healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience
    OR
  • Equivalent education/experience
