About This Role
The Accounts Payable Specialist is an ideal role for someone who is looking to bring their Accounts Payable experience to a growing company and seeking to build on their skills and career. The position is pivotal for ensuring that all invoices are paid in a timely manner at MN. The Accounts Payable Specialist will use their organizational skills to assist the accounting team with maintaining expense records. This role will interact with external vendors and key stakeholders to communicate effectively on payments while building and maintaining working relationships.
On a Given Day, Your Work Might Include

• Facilitating invoices through company workflow and entering them into accounting system
• Coding expenses using company GL expense codes
• Creating, dispersing, and tracking lien waivers and payments to vendors
• Investigating invoice discrepancies and resolving accounting challenges with vendors
• Recording cash disbursements daily to ensure accounting records are updated
• Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
• Utilizing and navigating online payment portals effectively
• Partnering and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Bachelor or Associates degree in accounting, finance, or business
• 2-4 years Accounts Payable experience required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel required
• Experience in at least one ERP system required
• Knowledge of Salesforce, SAP Concur, and Accounting Seed preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are required.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and perform under deadlines
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required to be furnished upon hire absent an approved accommodation

Hours & Compensation
This is a full-time position paying ($23.12 - $32.42 per hour). The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Individual placement within a salary range will vary based upon factors including but not limited to candidate experience, knowledge, individual, skills, and organizational performance.
