The role you'll contribute:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for the organization, planning, and management of the Accounting/Finance Department, including general accounting/finance, accounts payable, and payroll for all Home Health business units and departments of the Primary Health Division (PHD) of AdventHealth (AH). This includes all agencies within the Central Florida Division (CFD), the West Florida Division (WFD), and all agencies throughout the Multi-State Division. The primary responsibility is the preparation of accurate financial statements and budgets, in a timely manner. Additionally, this position requires great oral and written communication skills to develop policies and procedures and to serve as a liaison between various AH entities and departments. In addition to interacting with senior leadership, this position may be required to assist external auditors in the annual financial statement audits and must assist AHS corporate office with various projects as instructed by the Finance Director Active participation in outstanding customer service and acceptance of responsibilities in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Responsible for supervision and management of assigned staff. This includes management of general accounting/finance, payroll, and accounts payable teams.
Meets regularly with direct reports. Sets clear, compelling goals and holds leadership accountable for performance, setting the climate for open and frequent communication.
Responsible for the preparation and integrity of financial statements for all assigned entities and agencies.
Responsible for the accurate presentation of accounts receivable and net revenue. This includes proper revenue recognition, compliance with corporate office policies, and compliance with GAAP.
Improves core accounting processes in an ongoing basis. This includes streamlining, improving accuracy, and improving customer service of all accounting functions.
Responsible for the detail preparation of annual operating and capital budgets for all related agencies and departments.

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting, OR
Master's degree in Business Administration
Two to four years of Accounting or Finance experience
