SUMMARY:
To maintain and provide financial reports in accordance to HDG vision, mission and core values through accurate posting of journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivables and monthly bank reconciliation by using accounting software
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
? Responsible for maintaining accurate financial accounts of assigned hotels
? Update daily reports, book balances
? Communicates effectively with property personnel of all related accounting information
? Recording invoices and process weekly payables
? Process checks and pay vendor invoices in a timely manner
? Conduct daily bank reconciliations, research and correct any discrepancies of each bank account
? Prepare and file properties' monthly sales tax and remit them to state/counties
? Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
? Provide Administrative support to management as requested
? A/R aging monthly spreadsheet
? Consolidate credit card statements
? Performs PCI audits
? Concur Administrator/Credit Cards
? Working with properties, as assigned, on marketplace variance
? Working with properties, as assigned, on food orders using
? Training of property account payable specialists
? E-mailing monthly Lowe's Statement
? Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Two year/Associates degree; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: Internet Software; Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Word Processing Software (Word); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook); Presentation software (PowerPoint).
