Accounting Manager

PerkSpot is searching for an Accounting Manager to join our Finance & Accounting Team! What you'll accomplish:
Manage and assist the accounting staff who are responsible for A/P, A/R, payroll, cash reconciliation, general ledger, balance sheet preparation and account reconciliations
Ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with ASC606
Manage CaptivateIQ software and ensure that monthly and quarterly commission and bonus payments are accurately calculated
Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and annual close process, continuously seeking to increase efficiency and shorten month-end close cycle
Partner with FP&A team on monthly EBITDA forecast
Coordinate with the sales team to improve collections and invoicing
Responsible for maintaining and improving cash flow
Implement, document, and maintain adequate and effective internal controls
Prepare quarter tax distribution statement
Lead annual external audit process
Researching accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Contribute to the broader organization by being a true business partner in support of our business growth
What we're looking for:
6+ years of experience in accounting with 2+ years of managerial experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA certification is required
Tech or e-commerce industry experience is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to articulate recommendations in a concise and timely manner
Strong technical accounting skills
Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative manner
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
Advanced knowledge of Excel and BI tools such as Domo
Proficiency in any/all of the following: QuickBooks, Salesforce, CaptivateIQ
