Accounting Clerk

Mid-American Cleaning Contractors is a trusted Facilities Partner, offering exceptional professional cleaning and janitorial services for Business/Retail/Office environments, Medical Facilities, Schools and Universities, and Manufacturing Facilities.

We are rapidly expanding and are looking for a reliable and trustworthy Accounting Clerk to serve our clients.

The Accounting Clerk will:

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintain and update accounting records and files
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions (experience a must)
- Manage payroll processing
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial information in accounting software
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance requirements
- Provide support for audits and other financial reviews
- May assist the HR department

Required Skills:

- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including GAAP principles
- Excellent 10-key typing skills for accurate data entry
- Experience with tax preparation and compliance is a plus
- Ability to perform general ledger reconciliation
- Familiarity with payroll is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

Salary: $18.00 per hour
