Accounting Clerk

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This is a vital role within our organization, and we are looking for someone who is proficient in math, has knowledge of accounting software, Excel, and can handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting processes
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Handle general accounting duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial analysis
- Understanding of tax regulations and reporting requirements
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Previous experience in a similar role or educational background in accounting or finance is preferred

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
