- Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone
- Must possess ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish
- Quickly answering or properly referring questions and issues
- Notifying provider of patient arrivals
- Comforting patients by anticipating anxieties and effectively answering questions
- Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records
- Recording patients' vital signs, documenting physicians' notes and changes in medical conditions
- Taking fluid samples and sending them in for laboratory analysis
- Administering newborn PKU blood test
- Prepping exam rooms for clinical procedures
- Assisting physician during routine checkups, outpatient procedures and other physical exams
- Monitoring and documenting patient symptoms for physicians' review during clinical exams
- Providing compassionate patient support and care, attention and assistance during office visits
- Preparing and administering medications under the direction of supervising physician
- Documenting patients' medical information, including medical history and health insurance information
- Performing data entry tasks to document patient records within facility databases and maintaining patient files
- Performing data entry tasks for immunization record keeping to the State
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
