The Accounting Clerk plays a crucial role in supporting the financial activities of MEORC by performing a wide range of accounting and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include data entry, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, expense reports, financial reporting, assist with audits and using accounting software. This is a remote position that will work from home.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
- Associate degree in accounting or related field is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2 years' experience working knowledge of accounting principles and practices is required.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- Valid Ohio Driver's license with vehicle insurance and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to obtain Business Manager certification per rule 5123:5-08 within two years of hire.
- Must be able to be bonded.
