Accounting Clerk

Jefferson Financial FCU is seeking a full-time Accounting Clerk in Metairie.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Accounts payable processing
• General ledger account reconciliation
• Journal entry posting for various accounts
• Complete all required compliance/continuing education training
• Other accounting related tasks upon request

Skills/Qualifications

• Holds degree in, or is pursuing a degree in, Accounting, Finance, or similar subject matter
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, strong organizational skills, adaptable, positive attitude
