Accounting Clerk (Accounts Receivables)

Overview

RES is currently accepting applications for an Accounting Clerk (Accounts Receivables) to work in our Baton Rouge, LA office.  

 

 

What your day-to-day might look like?

• Assists with the data entry of invoices/vouchers or general journal entries
• Adhere to policies, procedures and instructions related to the AR Department.
• Setting up new clients
• Organizing A/R invoices
• Processing invoices
• Maintaining A/R filing
• Handling any inquiries regarding A/R
• Making payments to stay current with all client accounts
• Assisting with audit support
• Applying invoices
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Respond to client emails and phone calls in a timely manner
• Perform special projects and analysis as needed
• Reconciliations

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a business related major or have the related experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel and Word)
• Experience in a client facing work environment
• Familiarity with Adobe and or Editor
