Accounting Clerk/Receptionist

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing administrative support to our accounting department. Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end closing procedures
- Assist with payroll processing and maintain employee records
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department
- Answer phone calls, greet visitors, and assist with front desk duties
- Maintain office supplies and ensure the office is organized and tidy

Experience:
- Previous experience in an office or clerical role is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in computerized accounting systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with Google Suite is a plus

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
