International Food Manufacturing Company is seeking an Accounting Clerk to become an integral part of the team! You will compile data, compute charges, and prepare invoices.
Position: Accounting Clerk
Industry: Japanese Food Manufacturing company
Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA / Los Angeles Area
Pay: $21-$24 (DOE) plus benefits
Status: Full time / Direct hire
Responsibilities:
• Deliver and pick-up inter-office documents to/from sales office including checks
and cash daily
• Count and reconcile received payments, make deposit to bank by online banking,
and by courier accordingly
• Handle petty cash reimbursement, keep all receipts for recording, and reconcile
balance at month end
• Visit bank branch, withdraw cash to replenish petty cash fund
• Provide credit reference to venders to extend credit
• Enter and upload journal entries into system
Qualifications:
• 2-year college degree, or 1-3 years of general accounting /Accounts Payable
experience is a plus.
• Ability to calculate, analyze, and manage financial records
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations quickly and accurately
• Excel
• Knowledge of accounting software
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
