The Accounting Clerk will perform complex clerical, bookkeeping, and accounting assignments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting tasks, including but not limited to:
- Prepares daily deposits
- Allocates Accounts Receivables and Payables to correct accounts according to departmental procedures
- Performs statement reconciliations and resolve accounting discrepancies
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Adept attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Quick learner and the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Thorough understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive), Adobe Acrobat and 10-Key by Touch
- Knowledge of spreadsheets and accounting software
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 5 Years recent experience in a previous accounting role or recent College graduate
- Proven Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience in a previous role
