IT Support Technician - Be Our Local Vegas Tech Hero!

For 30 years we have been a thriving small IT MSP (Managed Services Provider) serving Las Vegas and surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on being the one-stop shop for IT solutions for small and mid-sized businesses, from legal firms to real estate agencies. We offer a full range of services, from project design to security, helpdesk support, and network management.
What You'll Do:
- Diagnose and fix system and application issues across equipment, network, software, and user knowledge
- Provide Tier 1 & 2 phone, and remote support, keeping client satisfaction paramount
- Multitask efficiently, manage documentation, and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues
- Document thoroughly, log time entries, and switch gears between desktop, server, and network support
- Be available for on-site visits in Las Vegas & Henderson areas
Requirements:
- Live in Las Vegas, NV
- Non-Smoker
- Reliable transportation with clean driving record and insurance (mileage reimbursed)
- Minimum 4 years of experience providing technical support via phone, email, and in person
Expertise in:
- Windows 10/11 and macOS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Windows Server 2016 & above installation and configuration
- Printer management and troubleshooting
- Troubleshooting hardware components like video cards, NICs, and hard drives
- Microsoft 365 desktop and cloud applications
- DNS, DHCP, and commands like ping, tracert, nslookup, robocopy
- Sonicwall Firewalls (or Cisco), routing, NATing, VPNs
- Managed switches, VLANs
- Technical process and procedure documentation
- Explaining complex IT issues clearly and proposing solutions
- Teamwork and independent work ethic
- Staying current with technology trends
- Cloud and web services, TCP/IP configuration, and troubleshooting
- (Bonus) Windows Server and Active Directory, GPOs, Windows Deployment Services
- (Bonus) Hyper-V, VMWare, and other virtualization platforms
- (Bonus) Office 365, Exchange Online, Teams, Intune & Entra AD
Bonus Points:
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS, hardware, and troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- MSP Ticketing system experience (Connectwise Manage, AutoTask)
- Willingness to learn and think creatively
- Punctuality, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills
- 4+ years of professional IT experience (not contract work)
- AS/AA or BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Microsoft certifications (MCP, MCSE) Office 365, Azure
