Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will have strong computer literacy skills and previous experience in an office setting. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the field of accounting.
Duties:
- Provide front desk support, including answering phone calls, and greeting visitors
- Assist with responding to customer emails & text messages
- Manage client billings and accounts receivable
- Assist with customer project coordination and tracking
- Perform general office tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Assemble client tax folders
- Post client QBO transactions -Special projects upon request
Skills:
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience in an office environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a plus - Knowledge of QBO a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service-oriented mindset
