As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Accounting / Bookkeeping
Prior experience required; experience in the rental industry a plus.
This is a full-time, on-site position. Competency in Quickbooks is required.
Duties include : Learning the specifics of the rental business in order to make proper allocations.
Required skillset:
- General Ledger, AP, AR and Capex – Journal Entries – Quickbooks.
- Conducting general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data. Utilizing accounting software to manage financial transactions and reports.
Performing financial auditing to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Payroll verification and processing. - Manage payroll processes accurately.
- Regulatory filings (W2, 1099, etc…)
- Accounts Receivable – Verification/correction of invoices; and timely collections.
- Accounts Payable – Verification/dispute as needed; weekly check run.
- Managing cash flow.
- Accounts reconciliation and monthly close.
Accounting knowledge:
- Must be able to read and understand P/L, B/S and C/F statements.
- Must be able to verify GL debit/credit entries in the balance sheet.
- Must be able to update the COA (Chart of Accounts) and determine the account to allocate each journal entry.
Systems
- Microsoft Office, especially using Excel (advanced level preferred)
- Quickbooks, especially Quickbooks Desktop version (advanced level preferred)

Pay: $65,350.00 - $70,720.00 per year
