As a Business Development Representative for Pattern's Amplifi.io SaaS sales team, you will identify opportunities and engage with high quality brands, as well as facilitate progression from needs analysis and initial pitch to closing deals. You'll be supported by a world class team of marketers generating inbound opportunities for you to field, as well as have the opportunity to seek new prospects 'in-the-wild' including trade shows, calls, emails, social - the whole gamut. You can expect to receive valuable mentoring by a seasoned sales team including field activities as we accelerate towards our revenue objectives.
This is a full-time role based at our office in Lehi, Utah.

What is a day in the life of a Business Development Representative?
  • Wake up before your alarm even goes off - ready to slay the day
  • Research product brands in categories like automotive aftermarket, apparel, health and wellness, outdoor, and identify high-growth brands to engage with
  • Research relevant stakeholders usually in marketing, sales or ecommerce roles and identify value propositions
  • Network via LinkedIn and offline to build relationships and organize meetings
  • Set appointments with SMB and enterprise opportunities
  • Craft and test value-driven messages specific to current pain points and needs
  • Work closely with sales reps on sales funnels, plans, pipeline and targets tracking everything you do in Salesforce
  • Attend events and help enterprise sales reps coordinate and find opportunities
  • Outbound outreach with compelling messages through phone & email
  • Work closely with the marketing team to penetrate and set appointments with enterprise accounts

What will I need to thrive in this role?
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Track record of hitting quota
  • Experience in phone sales and qualifying leads
  • Excellent written and communication skills - on par with enterprise executives
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Highly organized and disciplined
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Experience & Skills
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Previous exposure to media systems or marketplaces, specifically (but not limited to) Amazon
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Hubspot or other CRMs

What does the team look like?
  • You will work alongside the Pattern US sales team and be mentored by the Sales Development Manager, VP of Business Development and Enterprise Account Rep. You will report to the Manager of Business Development. This team is succeeding and surpassing their goals. You will collaborate regularly with members of your team and work tightly with the fast paced SaaS department which could lead to QUICK ADVANCEMENT based on your MEASURABLE CONTRIBUTIONS.
