Work under minimum supervision to provide advanced clerical services for the Special Services department. Manage the routine work activities of the Special Services department and provide support to the Director and other staff members. Handle confidential information and engage in frequent contact with all levels of district employees.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
Special Skills:
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain accurate and audible records
- Proficient skills using software
- Ability to multi-task numerous complex administrative activities and meet established deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Perform student file maintenance
- Prepare IEP/ARD documents for ARD Facilitator.
- Answer incoming calls and greet visitors. Respond to routine inquiries and refer appropriate inquiries to administrators
- Comply with policies established by federal and state laws and regulations, and local board policy
- Maintain confidentiality
