Customer Service Specialist / Receptionist

Growing Durable Medical Equipment Company is looking for a Customer Service star.

You must live in Katy or West Houston for this position with ability to commute or relocate.

We are a health care service provider looking to welcome the right person for this challenging and exciting position within our well-established company. The focus of this position will be on Customer Service but will also provide a backup receptionist role answering phones, etc.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year Customer Service experience so please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement.

Must Possess:

• The ability to provide a personalized, interactive experience with our customers
• A high degree of empathy towards our customer’s concerns
• The desire to learn about our company’s products and services and reach a high level of competency that will allow for quick solutions to customer issues
• Be able to communicate with patients in a professional manner
• Be a problem solver and be able to multi-task
• High attention to detail
• DME experience, especially related to the CPAP business

Must Be:

• Familiar with HIPAA guidelines
• Computer literate
• Driven to perform at a high level
• Professional in appearance and demeanor
• Articulate and able to communicate clearly with customers
• Able to work well with others

Must Have:

• Excellent Customer Service experience
• The ability to ask for, and get, patient feedback
• 10 key experience a plus, type at least 45wpm
• Dependable Transportation
• Minimum High school or equivalent education
• A desire for advancement

Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.

This is a full time, hourly position with health, dental, vision insurance benefits as well as paid time off. Please send your resume and references. Salary range is $13.00 - $16.00 per hour. Only well qualified candidates, living in Katy or West Houston, will be considered.

Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5:00.
