Summary/Objective
H.A. Automotive is looking to hire a 2nd Shift Assembly Process Technician who is going to be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the assembly lines, controlling and optimizing complex Assembly Processes, driving process improvement within the assembly plant and maintaining quality standards. The Process Technician will provide support for the assembly lines including troubleshooting robots and other relevant production equipment to support the site operation.
Essential Duties
1. Monitor and analyze the assembly line equipment, ensuring optimal performance
2. Execute setup changes and manage transitions between different production runs as per specified requirements
3. Regular maintenance of hot plate welders.
4. Actively interface with other departments to maintain and improve the manufacturing processes and equipment
5. Regularly inspect the machinery to identify and rectify any issues or glitches
6. Develop and maintain process documentation
7. Resolve equipment problems through effective troubleshooting, minimizing any disruption in the workflow
8. Learn the error proofing system (MES) in order to assist the team in troubleshooting problems
9. Maintain precise records of test outcomes and necessary adjustments.
10. Have strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
11. Train and assist team leaders and assembly operators
12. Read and interpret, blueprints, equipment manuals and work orders
13. Responsible for promoting a safe work environment and preventing injuries through the use of, but not limited to, 6S, job rotation, and ergonomic work practices.
14. Follow all IATF-16949 and ISO-14001 policies and procedures.
15. Adhere to company policies and regulations
16. Continuously analyze the assigned area of responsibility for improved methods of production, communication, reporting, cost controls, and make recommendations to the appropriate departments to maximize efficiency.
17. Attend daily production meetings
18. Daily communication with various departments and all levels of management through email, telephone, face-to-face is necessary in order to optimize the efficiency of the operations.

Minimum Qualifications
1. Completion of High School or GED
2. 3+ years of experience in assembly and manufacturing environment
3. Experience with lean manufacturing principles
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. Strong data analysis and problem solving skills
6. Relevant experience in robotic, mechanical and electrical work
7. Knowledge of product manufacturing principles and practices
8. Strong computer skills with MS Office knowledge
10. Basic understanding of OSHA standards
Preferred Qualifications-Not Required
1. 2-3 years experience in a Manufacturing setting
2. Flexible to adapt to changes in scheduling, able to handle high-stress decision making scenarios.
3. Knowledge of Hot Plate Welding, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems, electrical, PLC and robotics.
