Duration- 12 Months
Work Schedule- Dupont schedule alternating days/nights.
Fixed 28 day rotational cycle in which each employee works in 12 hour shifts. (Dupont Schedule)
Example:
4 AM/Day shift rotations
7 days off
4 PM/Night shift rotations
3 days off
3 AM/Day shift rotations
48 hours off
3 PM/Night shift rotations
3 days off
AM/Day Shift Rotation: 6:45 AM 7:15 PM
PM/Night Shift Rotation: 6:45 PM 7:15 AM
Description

• The candidate's assignment will include but is not limited to safe operation of dry powder batch processes and material handling equipment.
• This position will be hands on manufacturing, interfacing with product, equipment, and team members in activities such as operation of Chemical Processes, packaging product and other operational activities as assigned.
• Other responsibilities include identification of and reporting of safety violations or concerns. This role requires housekeeping skills, good attendance, and teamwork. This assignment has the opportunity for fulltime placement.
• Must be available to work a DuPont schedule alternating from day shift to night shift. Essential Job Functions include: Demonstrating good safety standards, troubleshooting equipment, operating material handling equipment, Chemical Processes.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of solid work experience, food or pharmaceutical processing is helpful, basic computer skills, must work well in a team environment and independently, demonstrate good work habits (attendance, safety, housekeeping, etc.), good verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements : Must be able to work 24/7 rotating shifts, able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally, able to wear a Pressurized Air Purifying Respirator and able to safely ascend and descend multiple flights of stairs during the shift.
Batch processing experience is preferred, however, it is not a qualifying indicator ahead of a solid work history with some form of manufacturing or related environment.
Dry Chemical Processing in batch (no liquids).
Candidate will be walking up/down 4 flights of stairs.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must have attention to detail will be monitoring equipment.
Candidate must have a solid work history; no job hopping. The rest can be trained
