SalaryWe are looking for an enthusiastic Summer Intern that will join the Internal Audit & Risk (IAR) team, to help us in our mission to support Spotify's teams in identifying and managing the organization's most critical risks. As an intern, you will gain exposure in how IAR provides support across the company, with a focus on enhancing our data analytics & automation capabilities to measure and manage risks. Our internship will provide you with an understanding of IAR ads value, by increasing confidence in achieving operational success.
What You'll Do
- Participate in Internal Audit & Risk activities, such as risk assessments, Internal Audit projects and control design & testing
- You will play a key role in our control & testing automation project, with the aim of increasing efficiency and effectiveness in our IAR procedures
- You will work with various stakeholders to aggregate, analyze and visualize risk data used in internal reporting
Who You Are
- You are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics or Data Science/Analytics
- You have a graduation year date of 2024 or 2025
- You currently have valid work authorization to work in the country in which this role is based that will extend from June to August 2024
- You are available from June to August 2024 to participate in the Summer Internship
- You know how to work with large, disconnected sets of data to provide meaningful insights and have taken first steps working with automation tools
- You are proficient with either Python, SQL, Big Query, Tableau and/or other data extraction, analysis and visualization tools
- You're a curious self starter with a passion for learning new thingsYou have great written/oral communication skills, and outstanding attention to detail

- This role will require you to work out of our New York City Office

The United States hourly rate for this position is $32 USD per hour plus a one time intern stipend of $2,253 USD and is overtime eligible. This rate may be modified in the future. The role is eligible for select benefits such as Paid Public Holidays, Free Spotify Premium, and Learning and Development Trainings.
Our paid Summer Internships last for approximately 10 weeks and start at the beginning of June. The last day to apply is March 15th 2024 at 9 AM ET.
