Your Job:
The Senior Director of Quality Assurance will oversee all quality initiatives and lead the Quality team. The Senior Director of Quality Assurance will establish quality policy, create, and implement quality planning and compliance programs, and direct quality improvement initiatives.
The Senior Director of Quality Assurance will be responsible for Quality Assurance, Program Management, Technical Knowledge and Compliance, and Reporting activities as well as other tasks and duties outlined below.
Your Duties:
1) Quality Assurance
- Lead the quality team and oversee Quality Control programs, goals, and results.
- Establish the organization's internal quality policies and procedures.
- Collaborate on the design, training and implementation of quality software, methodology, tools, and templates.
- Manage overall program assessment of quality outcomes and metrics.
- Establish protocols for client audit support.
- Develop and present technical learning and development programs.
- Oversee compliance with generally accepted accounting and audit standards and governmental accounting regulations - GAAP, GAAS, GAGAS, and Uniform Grant Guidance standards.
- Serve as a technical resource to Quality Management and Consulting Services teams and internal partners and stakeholders.
- Consult and/or partner on complex issues and engagements.
- Research and study trends and developments in quality management, accounting practices and regulatory compliance.
- Develop technical documentation related to internal policies and procedures and compliance with accounting standards.
- Evaluate and present quality data and business goals for productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications
• BS in Accounting is required.
• CPA is required.
• Minimum 10 years of Accounting experience and at least 6 years as an auditor in public accounting, non-profit preferred.
• At least 4 years of project management experience.
• Experience tracking metrics, data analysis and reporting
• Prior experience working with non-profits, charter schools, or socially responsible organizations is preferred.
