The Internal Audit Intern will work closely with the Internal Audit team to assist in conducting audits, evaluating internal controls, and identifying areas for improvement. This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment and provides the opportunity to learn about Internal Audit processes and methodologies.
What you can expect to do in this role:
- Assist in conducting audit procedures in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
- Document audit workpapers and findings in accordance with departmental standards.
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and best practices.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Develop and maintain a value-added business partner relationship with key stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned by Manager.
What we are looking for:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program (required).
- Availability starting June 1st, full-time hours for summer months, opportunity for part-time hours during fall semester, if interested.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Previous internship experience in Internal Audit or a related field is a plus.
