Responsibilities
State Farm Estimatics Department is looking for Auto Appraiser Interns to join their 2024 Summer Internship Program. When you join their team, you can feel good knowing you are helping our customers recover from the unexpected. The Auto Estimatics Appraiser is a highly technical role that involves the opportunity to address questions regarding vehicle damage and estimate content internally and externally. You will identify damage to vehicles, write and review vehicle repair estimates, and work closely with claims personnel in resolving claims.
Qualifications
Competitive candidates must demonstrate the following:
· Excellent customer service and decision-making skills
· Physical agility to allow for stooping, bending, and some physical lifting to adequately evaluate vehicle damage and create repair estimate.
· A valid driver’s license is required.
Preferred Skills:
· Auto collision repair, auto damage estimating, and/or auto insurance appraiser experience.
· Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraiser License

Where you’ll work:
Intern positions are located in NY City, Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, Northern California, Seattle, WA and Tempe, AZ. Auto Estimatics Interns in each location except for Tempe will work remotely and Tempe interns will be hybrid requiring some of their time in our Tempe office complex. All interns will be required to travel to automotive repair facilities as part of their training and Tempe interns may be asked to attend assorted onsite activities on our Tempe campus.
Internship Information:
Dates: May 20, 2024 – August 2, 2024
Salary: $20/per hour
Hours of operation are typically 8:00 AM – 4:15 PM but may vary slightly to accommodate time zones.
