Job Summary and Responsibilities:
In close collaboration with their designated mentor, each Intern will actively engage with our team of seasoned professionals to contribute to the comprehensive renovation process of a multifamily asset. This involvement encompasses various facets such as budgeting, adept management of vendors and contracts, overseeing design implementation, executing unit interior upgrades with specialized finish packages, ensuring ADA compliance, navigating city permitting and inspections, and addressing critical aspects of building and life safety systems. Interns will be hands-on, stationed at the property or project location, gaining invaluable experience in the multifaceted realm of property redevelopment.
This summer internship position pays $19 per hour.

Essential Functions:
- Research potential vendors/subcontractors and gather bids
- Assist in vendor selection
- Assist with entering budgetary information into project trackers
- Assist with coding invoices for payment
- Assist with gathering necessary qualifying documents for vendor agreements and contracts
- Participate in punch walks, city inspections, and final vendor walks
- Coordinate with the on site property management team during the unit turn process
- Compile project documentation and upload into respective internal ShareDrive folders
Requirements:
Computer Skills:
- Intermediate computer and internet knowledge
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Learning and Development:
- Maintain a commitment to ongoing professional development and career growth through the Fowler Internship Program
Education:
- Must be currently enrolled in a four-year university, community college, or trade school
- Ability to fluently read and write English, accurately perform intermediate mathematical functions, and use all on-site management software
