Medical Assistant

Full-time position available immediately for a Medical Assistant, prior experience and computer proficiency for Mac required, must be reliable and capable of multi-tasking, references required.

As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and treatment
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records
- Take patient medical history and vital signs
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using electronic Medical record (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.40 - $24.56 per hour
