Our Financial Advisory team advises mid-size commercial organizations on restructuring & turnaround, performance improvement and transaction advisory work. Qualified candidates can expect to work consistently with a wide variety of clients and stakeholders in the industry.Qualifications
Responsibilities may include:
• Engage as an active thought partner during both internal team and external client meetings; present key findings and implications to clients
• Conduct interviews, focus groups, and leverage other stakeholder engagement methods to gather qualitative data
• Develop and deliver client presentations, portraying complex problems and analyses in a succinct and understandable narrative
• Manage assigned project analysis, deliverables, and related logistics with guidance from project managers and leadership
• Gather, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, targets, or other metrics to inform client deliverables
Required:
- 1st year MBA students (actively working towards completion of a 2 year program)
-Experience with restructuring/turnaround work, public accounting or audit-related consulting
- Deep financial modeling and data management experience, and ability to identify key operational performance drivers
- Demonstrate a high-level of proficiency with: 13 week cash flow forecast, financial reporting (monthly operating reports, statements & schedules), operational improvement and overhead analysis, and pitchbook preparation
- BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time
- Permanent US Work Authorization is required
Preferred:
- Have or working toward one or more of the following certifications: CPA, CIRA, CTP, CFA, CDB
The estimated base salary range for this job is $60/hour. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
