This design internship is designed for recent graduates who are motivated to jump in and take a hands-on approach to contribute to all aspects of the creative work we do for our clients. Throughout your internship with GSG, you will have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of a bustling agency while contributing valuable work to the team. Our ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, demonstrates creativity, and understands the importance of attending to even the smallest details.
The design intern will work with our Creative Director and production teams to respond to client requests, as well as assist with GSG's internal rebranding efforts, and day-to-day administrative/project management of the creative department. This is the perfect opportunity to gain invaluable industry experience and build your design portfolio.
Our Spring Interns must be able to commit working part-time (20 hrs/wk.). The position will be a hybrid role with an in-person component in our NYC office. The internship will begin in January and go through the end of May. Pay rate is $20/hour.

As a design intern, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with our talented design team to create captivating visual content for a wide range of projects.
- Gaining hands-on experience in various design disciplines, from branding and UI/UX to digital and print.
- Working on real client projects, learning how to translate their vision into stunning design solutions.
- Contributing your fresh ideas and perspectives to help us stay on the cutting edge of design trends.
- Helping with GSG's own branding initiatives
- Organizing brand stock photo library, researching new additions, creating new brand icons, and maintaining existing file management system for easy retrieval and reference
Does the following sound like you?
- Excellent design skills and strong ability to come up with creative design concepts
- Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Express), PowerPoint, Figma, Sketch or other relevant software.
- Motivated, responsible, self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, able to work with minimal direction
- High level of attention to detail, strong work ethic, and high level of professionalism
- Strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Prioritize and multi-task effectively
- Comfortable working independently, as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with and understanding of design best practices for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms
