ABOUT LOVESHACKFANCY
LoveShackFancy began in 2013 with a beach-to-ballroom hand-dyed halter dress that founder and creative director Rebecca Hessel Cohen made for her bridal party. Over time, that one article of clothing, created to celebrate love, has turned into a world filled with all things romantic, dreamy and drenched in optimism - from clothing to tabletop, bedding, swim, ski, travel accessories, shoes and more.
ROLE OVERVIEW
LoveShackFancy is seeking a Business Analyst Intern to join our team. As a Business Analyst Intern, you will be responsible for supporting analytical reporting and presentation building for the digital business of LoveShackFancy. This internship is for school credit and is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in learning about business analytics, digital marketing, ecommerce, and the fashion industry.
This internship is an unpaid role, and the candidate MUST receive academic credit as a requirement. This internship requires candidates to be able to commute to the NYC office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with data analysis and reporting, including identifying trends, patterns, and insights to support business decisions
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the digital business
• Build presentations to communicate analysis and findings to key stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations, to support business goals and initiatives
• Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the digital retail space
SKILLS, QUALITIES & BEHAVIOURS:
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to work with complex data sets
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Interest in learning about business analytics, digital marketing, ecommerce, and the fashion industry
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a relevant field (such as Business Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field)
• We are looking for someone who is a smart self-starter and passionate about building and scaling a fast-paced and growing retail business in the digital world.
