Youth Development Specialist- Restorative Justice Program(HUB):

CCC is seeking to employ both Full-Time and Part Time Youth Development Specialist(YDS) to provide direct care, supervision, mentorship, transport and accompany individuals to various activities. The YDS will be responsible to facilitate psychoeducational groups and workshops. The YDS will also engage the community members and stakeholders to create support and create a safe environment for the individual's served.

Duties:

- Provide supervision and guidance to youth in a safe and nurturing environment
- Plan and implement activities and programs
- Assist with homework and educational support
- Teach and model positive behavior management techniques
- Organize and facilitate positive coaching and other recreational activities
- Promote social skills development and conflict resolution
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive environment

Experience
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for working with youth
- Familiarity with Christian counseling principles is desirable
- First aid certification is preferred
