Responsibilities
- Responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of the hospitals Sterile Processing functions, including decontamination, assembly, and sterilization.
- All reprocessing/distribution/pickup, and all hiring, training, and coordination of the work of all Sterile Processing staff.
- Manage all staff to include scheduling, time approval, hiring and corrective action as needed.
- The Manager is also responsible for all regulatory agency compliance for in-house sterilization of instruments and equipment.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- 5 years hospital experience working in the care of instruments, equipment and supplies or similar experience
- Associates degree in related field
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Bachelors' degree
- 2 years in a supervisory role
- Oklahoma license as a Registered Nurse
- CNOR and/or CRCST
