Work Location: This position can be based at any of our North Central, MO BTC Bank locations.

Job Purpose: Coordinate all aspects of the Area Youth Benefit organization as well as other youth focused and community centered BTC Bank initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all aspects of the Area Youth Benefit Corporation (AYBC), BTC Bank's 501c3 non-profit organization, to support its mission of providing leadership development opportunities for youth in BTC Bank’s service area.
  • Formulate and execute comprehensive marketing, branding and fundraising strategies that will enhance revenue from donors, foundations, and corporations.
  • Identify and execute strategies to grow donations and meet established funding goals for AYBC, including cultivating relationships with donors, identifying new funding opportunities, and developing creative fundraising campaigns.
  • Actively seek out partnerships, grants, and other resources to strengthen the AYBC program and meet annual development goals.
  • Manage incoming grant requests from area schools and community organizations.
  • Ensure compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements necessary to operate a 501c3.
  • Develop policies and procedures to ensure the mission of the program is not compromised.
  • Serve as an ex officio member of the AYBC Board, plan and execute AYBC Board meetings.
  • Collaborate with the AYBC Board to approve funding requests and implement fundraising initiatives.
  • Responsible for the financial management of the AYBC program; including budget development, recording revenue and expenses, bill payments, bank reconciliations, grant/scholarship awards, etc.
  • Maintain a database of donors (CRM)
  • Coordinate events and fundraisers for BTC Area Youth Benefit Corporation (AYBC)
  • Create, manage, and edit a wide range of marketing content, including social media posts, emails, newsletters, website content, and promotional materials, to communicate the value AYBC brings to the youth and communities served by BTC Bank.
  • Use the AYBC website and social media platforms to effectively engage and recruit donors.
  • Educate BTC Bank staff about AYBC mission, goals, events, and other community involvement initiatives to promote a culture of social responsibility throughout the organization.
  • Responsible for the BTC Bank scholarship program; including the application and award of all scholarships.
  • Responsible for awarding grants to area FFA students.
  • Responsible for the BTC Bank Good Citizen awards in area schools.
  • Assist the Marketing Department in coordinating events and sponsorships that support BTC Bank's brand and community involvement initiatives, including trade shows, charity events, and community outreach programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing or related field or three to five years of nonprofit experience.
  • Strong marketing, public relations, and fundraising experience with the ability to meaningfully engage a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills and the experience and proclivity to be an outgoing spokesperson, relationship builder, and fundraiser.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop donor relationships and willingness to cultivate relationships outside the normal office setting.
  • Experience planning and executing large-scale, successful fundraising events.
  • Proficiency in donor database/CRM reporting and analytics.
  • Proficient in the use of QuickBooks.
  • Experience with scholarship application software.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and meet goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as a member of a fast-paced marketing team.
