While the current expectation is 5, 8-hour days, this schedule could change to offer better evening flexibility to our consumers. This could include offering evening hours, or switching to four ten-hour days.
More details will be provided during the interview.Base Pay: $42,000 - $50,000/year dependent upon licensure and certifications / relevant experiences.The JobYou would be responsible for providing individual and group counseling for Substance Use for clients enroll in SUD and our SOR/MAT program. The SUD Counselor will provide counseling to clients being seen in our gambling program. The counselor will provide services that ensure the highest level of care is provided utilizing stage-wise treatment and working to ensure all their work is in compliance with Community Counseling Center Center policies and procedures.Essential Functions* Facilitate counseling and education groups.* Work to provide education to family members of SUD consumers.* Provide overdose education to clients and their family.* Conduct Individual Counseling for clients enrolled in SUD Program, SOR/MATS Program, and Gambling Program.* Offer coverage for the ITCD program as needed.* Make appropriate referrals both within Community Counseling Center as well as referrals outside the agency as needed for client.* Transporting clients in agency and/or personal vehicle as deemed necessary and appropriate to meet program requirements.* Attend ITCD multi-disciplinary team meetings.* Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and any other federal or state program per agency standards.Non Essential Functions* Maintain confidentiality regarding client and/or personnel matters.* Maintain compliance with all policy and procedures.* Complete all required training.* Work cooperatively with other departments and members of the community.* Participate in all required meetings as determined by supervisor.* Other duties as assigned.Must meet the Division of Behavioral Healths definition of Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP).A QAP would be one of the following:1.
A Qualified Mental Health Professional, or2. An individual who meets the applicable training and credentialing required by the MO Credentialing Board for any of the following Credentials:* Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor (CADC), Certified Reciprocal Alcohol Drug Counselor (CRADC), Certified Reciprocal Advanced Alcohol Drug Counselor (CRAADC), Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional (CCJP), Co-Occurring Disorders Professional (CCDP), Co-Occurring Disorders Professional Diplomat (CCDP-D), Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor - Provisional (RADC-P), or Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor (RADC)* You can find more information and requirements on the credentials listed above at the MO Credentialing Board Website -
