Rockstar Games is seeking a Workplace Services Assistant to join our growing Workplace Team. This is a full-time, in-person position to be based in Rockstar's NYC headquarters in downtown Manhattan.
WHAT WE DO- The Workplace Services team is responsible for ensuring the workplace, building, facilities, and programs work harmoniously to support the core business.
- We create a supportive and safe working environment for the staff at Rockstar.
- We manage and develop operational services and programs, including maintenance, security, cleaning, catering, mail services, space utilization, and strategy.
- We ensure the studios comply with all relevant compliance and legislation.
- Cultivate a welcoming environment by greeting employees and guests warmly and sincerely every time they enter the studio.
- Deliver the unique Rockstar Games brand experience to guests and new hires with enthusiasm.
- Enhance our building access systems by providing on-site security.
- Respond to and follow up on all incoming emails, direct messages, and cases through our internal work order system in a timely, efficient manner.
- Accommodate special requests whenever possible and resolve all inquiries, issues, or complaints promptly and graciously.
- Always keep the reception lounge and desk area neat and tidy.
- Walk through the office daily and perform opening and/or closing tasks as assigned.
- Assist with conference room and catering setup/breakdown.
- Assist with security for Workplace Services vendors in early morning hours.
- Be constantly aware of your surroundings and proactively help when needed.
- Assist with any Workplace projects as requested by the Senior Workplace Managers.
- This position is considered business critical and is on-site 5 business days per week.
- Minimum 1 year of related experience: candidates with high-touch customer service, high-end security, or luxury retail experience are encouraged to apply.
- Can operate standard office equipment (scanners, printers, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with a genuinely warm, gracious, and professional demeanor in all interactions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Be willing/able to learn and use our internal R* software application and tools (Slack, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter; handles self with minimal direction and is pro-active.
- Able to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships.
- Ability to thrive and be flexible in a constantly growing and changing fast-paced environment.
- Results-oriented, customer-focused, and organized with attention to detail.
