Job Description

Imagine yourself as part of Visa's People Systems Strategy, Transformation and Innovation organization, a team that is responsible for driving the transformation towards world class workforce and partner experiences across the People Systems landscape. 

As a Workday HCM Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for configuring and maintaining the systems and applications that support our core HR processes across a global organization. You will work closely with HR, IT, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure the systems are functioning properly, accurately, and securely.  You will showcase your experience by championing enhancements and providing creative solutions to promote efficiency, effectiveness, and new thinking in People business partnership and support.

  • Analyze, design, configure, test, deploy and maintain functionality within the Workday HCM landscape.
  • Manage relationships with HR stakeholders to proactively identify and address issues and provide timely support.
  • Create and maintain the systems and applications documentation, such as user guides, manuals, reports, and workflows.
  • Coordinate with internal and external HR subject matter experts to define requirements and determine recommended solutions to gain approval and execute on project/Data change deliverables.
  • Model exceptional communication and customer facing skills, able to interact effectively with diverse groups of global stakeholders, both technical and business users
  • Conduct root cause analysis of problems and apply business knowledge and practical experience to recommend system and product enhancements.
  • Seek and identify continuous improvement opportunities and participates in new release feature and functionality reviews to provide ongoing technical guidance and support.
  • Perform unit and quality assurance testing including test case preparation, test execution and test results documentation, contribute to test strategies.
  • Develop and enhance working knowledge through training, independent research and experimentation to become a subject matter expert (SME) for at least one distinct business process and application.

 

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
  • 2 or more years of Workday HCM configuration experience including business process configuration, troubleshooting, calculated fields, EIB management, custom report creation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • 3 or more years experience in Workday HCM configuration experience including business process configuration, troubleshooting, calculated fields, EIB management, custom report creation.
  • Strong follow-through, ability to drive to closure and resolution of complex system issues
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Active listener, customer focused, relationship builder, team player
  • Exceptional communication and customer facing skills, able to interact effectively with diverse groups of global stakeholders, both technical and business users
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 88,200.00 to 112,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
