Position Overview:
- You will be responsible for responding to incoming referrals, intake, and monitoring a caseload of patients on program.
- Additional tasks include insurance verification, answering and screening phone calls, communicating with therapists by phone and email, reporting to your supervisor, and attending weekly case management meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Putting new patients on program, intake, insurance checks, and assigning them to a therapist.
- Managing a patient caseload, tracking visit notes, and providing administrative support for therapists.
- Ensuring Quality Assurance by calling your patients and following up with their therapist.
- Entering patient information into our EMR.
- Answering new patient inquiries by phone and email.
- Reporting regularly with your supervisor.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year in medical office setting.
- Excellent communication skills over the phone and email.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks.
- Great computer skills for typing, using Microsoft databases, and quickly locating files.
- Able to clearly explain our services in a positive manner to potential new patients.
- Work as part of a team with a good attitude.
- Consistent and Punctual Attendance is mandatory.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records is a plus.
