WFAA, a TEGNA Media company, is seeking a Senior Research Analyst responsible for analyzing, coordinating and compiling cross-platform audience & market insights for WFAA.
Responsibilities:
• Strong and positive relationship with sales and other departments within WFAA
• Able to gather and analyze data from a variety of sources to extract salient insights
• Accurately estimate and update audience impressions for all WFAA & ABC programming in Wide Orbit Media Sales system
• Understanding of competitive linear/online trends and overall media landscape
• Proactively communicate impressions/visitor/audience and market trends to benefit sales efforts
• Ownership in learning and using all research tools available (Arianna, NLTV, Scarborough, comScore, Rhiza, Media Monitors, AdMall/Sales Fuel, Google Data Studio)
• Works with a sense of urgency in completion of projects and requests, communicating when deadlines are unreasonable
• Creative thinker able to share insights in a compelling way
• Stellar presentation skills with willingness and ability to join periodic sales calls
• Flexible as the media landscape evolves and needs change
Job Requirements:
• Television experience a must
• Knowledge of Nielsen and Comscore
• Deep knowledge of Wide Orbit Media Sales
• Proven track record of strength with data analysis
• Extreme attention to detail with a thirst for accuracy
• Proactive and responsive nature
• Comfortable working with shifting priorities
• Problem solver with collaborative spirit
