Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate compensation data to ensure alignment with company goals and market competitiveness.
- Gathers data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends.
- Conduct job evaluations and market pricing studies to determine appropriate salary ranges.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to design and implement compensation programs.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate compensation analysis findings.
- Prepares and maintains job descriptions for each position in the organization; ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents.
- Stay informed about compensation trends and regulations to make recommendations for adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with compensation-related laws and regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements in compensation-related processes and tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of compensation principles, market pricing, and regulatory requirements.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Compensation Analyst or in a related role.
- Proficiency in HRIS and compensation software
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CCP, CBP).
- Experience in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with Sage Timberline and/or Arcoro.
