We are seeking a Welder/Fabricator to become an integral part of our team! As a welder, you will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble a variety of parts.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacture and fabricate metal products
- Must adhere to quality control measures dictated by both employer and/or customer
- Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
- Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
- Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
- Weld stainless, aluminum, and steel
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering, science, and technology. This includes, but is not limited to, applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
- Previous experience in welding
- Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
- Must be well versed in the use of inspection equipment such as combination squares, calipers and micrometers.
- Working knowledge of math, algebra, and geometry
- Have working knowledge of welding machines, plasma cutters and oxygen acetylene torches as well as familiarity with all fabrication equipment used daily.
- Ability to interpret engineered drawings, blueprints, and layout sketches. Also, must be versed in the understanding of welding, grinding, and machining symbols used in the fabrication of various assemblies, tanks, bases, and enclosures.
