Nidec CHS is currently seeking a full-time Fabricator / Welderto work as part of the final assembly department. This is a full-time position.
Fabricator / Welder Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings.
- Fit and assemble metal, plastic, or other materials to create structures, components, or finished products.
- Assemble parts using welding, bolting, or adhesive techniques.
- Generate welds in the flat and horizontal position. Assembly operations, CNC plate burning, burn and bevel operation, material handling and miscellaneous equipment operation (saws, drills, shears and brakes). Nidec CHS will provide training to those who possess the basic welding skills or those who may have the technical training but lack hands on experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school Graduate or GED, JVS, or other technical school graduate.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Proficiency in the areas of stick, MIG, and flux cored welding processes.
- Good communication skills. Must be able to work in collaboration with others.
