DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and shipment tracking, utilizing inventory management software and other relevant tools.
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of finished goods.
- Oversee the transportation and distribution of products, coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery and cost-effective shipping solutions.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of warehouse operations and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to forecast inventory needs, coordinate replenishment orders, and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Confirm processes are run in accordance with SOPs and other documentation and best practices.
- Maintain Shipping & Receiving forms & terminology (BOL, Packing Slip, COO, COC, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of supervisory / leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates.
- Experience with MS Word / Excel / Outlook
- Advanced ERP knowledge/experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) Strong organization and prioritizing skills.
- Ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks.
- Ability to solve problems and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage budgets; read and interpret P&L statements; and prepare related management reports.
- Intermediate PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand for long period of times.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment as needed.
- Ability to work in warehouse environment on concrete flooring and in varying temperatures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- HS Diploma
- 3-5 Years Manufacturing Experience
